The
Union is now marketing around 90,000 lits of milk average per day
to the consumers through 373milk booths, 20 milk parlours, 45 retail
outlets in Madurai City.
A
seperate sales promotion wing namely "Consumer Oriented Milk Sales
Promotion Wing " was formed to meet out milk requirements of
hoteliers, retailers and special order booking parties at their
doorsteps. The Union is also selling milk in Theni by engaging retailers
and positioning parlours in Theni and Cumbum areas.
